22 Sep Looking Back on Direct Support Professionals Week

Direct Support Professionals week has officially ended, but our thanks for the hard work of Everas employees, along with the more than 30,000 DSPs statewide is unending. The professional support, attentive care and commitment of our employees is vital to the quality of life of the people we support. Thank you to those of you who joined in celebration of this week and for your continued recognition of the difference DSPs make in the lives of people with disabilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Throughout the week, we shared personal experiences from the DSP’s on our front line. Here is a sampling you can view by clicking on the images.

Everas also sent letters to all New Jersey State Senators, Assemblymen and Assemblywomen serving in the districts where Everas operates residential programs to share information about Everas and the important work of DSPs in their districts. We included a letter they could adapt, affirming their appreciation of Direct Support Professionals  working in their districts, who empower their constituents to actively participate and be included in the community.
