07 Mar Mid-Year Retreat at Everas Community Services
Employees from throughout our organization gathered at the Everas Mid-Year Retreat, an agency wide staff meeting, to review annual operational goals and our team successes and challenges so far this fiscal year. Executive leadership, supervisors, and department representatives shared updates and participated in an interactive discussion led by Colleen McLaughlin from the BOGGS Center on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Colleen’s talk was focused on enhancing our capacity to implement person centered practices and increased community inclusion in our services and supports.
Consistent trends throughout department reports were increased efficiencies aided by new and emerging technologies, a focus on continuous quality improvement, and the emphasis of organizational core values care, quality and respect in trainings, agency culture, and programming. As the system of care in NJ transitions to fee for service, ongoing dialogue regarding quality as well as efficiencies in our program operations and business practices will support Everas’ success.
At Everas Community Services, we are committed to ensuring that the individuals we support experience full lives as integrated members of their communities. The Mid –Year Retreat was a great success in sharing information and identifying ways to collaborate between departments in the interest of successful outcomes agency wide. With renewed energy, we look to the remaining half of our fiscal year and welcome new challenges as opportunities for organizational growth.
